technology and learning connections, a part of Florida's multi-tiered system of supports.
What is the relationship between accommodations & accessible instructional materials? How are they the same? How are they different? Is one a subset of the other?

Accommodations and AIM are concomitant.
All AIM would be accommodations, but not all accommodations would be AIM. So, AIM would be a subset of accommodations.

Some accommodations would be AIM such as
Text book info in the classroom, science beakers, rulers, whatever you have to make accessible

accommodation would be extended time on tests, changes in environment, but not AIM unless something has to be made accessible in order to be used as an accommodation.

AIM would most often, but not always, require a formal evaluation where as an accommodation could be either depending on the accommodation.
